Yoo Hoo

Yoo hoo, Mommy McShahan here. We've been MIA for way too long, and I think it's time to catch you guys up on what's been going on since we last posted. In May. Because I'm cyber lazy. And I promise, promise, promise to be better about not being so hermitish. So, without further ado ...

June

The first month of summer was mostly about water, and family, and getting sick. Luke and Nate had some awesome fun in swim lessons, then got some awesome pink eye, then did another stint of swim lessons, then got some fun ear infections, then headed to Wimberley with the Mimi and Dandy fam, then got some awesome ear infections, then headed to Granny and Pops's farm, then got some awesome ear infections. It was awesome.

July

Nate turned 1! Need I say more? He also started walking a few weeks before his birthday. And we had lots of fun with my side of the family at Granny and Pops's place (even though there were still some evil summertime sick bugs lingering). We found Otis the kitty at Party City, and Luke went to some Rangers games with Daddy.

August

In August we did lots of swimming and outside silliness, and Nate finally got baptized.

September

Wow. So much happened in September. Sea World. First day of school for Luke and Nate. First soccer game for Luke and Daddy. Luke's totally awesome early Star Wars birthday party.

October

Wow! Luke turned 4! Nate started saying fun words like meow, ball, and bye bye. Luke, Nate, and Mommy flew to El Paso to spread the good cheer and digestive bugs of Dallas (and to see Uncle Rob and Aunt Ebi). Of course we took more baths and Daddy did some crazy stuff at soccer practice. And tonight we're headed out for Halloween! Pictures to come soon.
